Memorable and Vibrant Okanagan Photography took great pleasure in creating memories for these two lovebirds in Summerland, BC.
Not all young couples exude the confidence of “just being” together as this bride and groom do. Jocelyn and Kyle were completely at ease in the company of their wedding guests as well as the loving embrace of one another. The stark nakedness of trees bearing nothing but a crow’s nest in early Spring hinted at lush promises of the future in the Japanese-influenced garden. The budding of new beginnings was further embodied by the sweet innocence of their adorable babe stealing hearts in one shot after another.
Their choice of cloudy greys and blush pinks were a statement in themselves of the beauty that is possible in simply combining just the right elements and textures. White orchids and a pearl bangle play off of each other, illuminating the beauty of our bride’s raven-esque locks and delicate features. Satin skirts flow lavishly from the hips of the bridesmaids, while the groomsmen stand proudly in their matching attire, taking turns entertaining the youngest member of the group.
Our groom shows us that chivalry is not dead, making sure his lover stays warm in his suit jacket as they hold each other in a sweet embrace, dancing to the sound of lapping waves amidst the swirling fog.
From the sliding doorway of a weathered old barn, to the end of a long dock over dark and deep lake waters, this youthful pair led us willingly down a beautiful path guided by love. As Kelowna Photographers, we felt both nurtured and inspired in the mere presence of this couple’s mutual affection. Thank you Jocelyn and Kyle, for being what this world needs now, and may your legacy be carried forward by those who look to you as you are – ambassadors of eternal love.
