70’s Disco Editorial Wedding at Summerhill Pyramid Winery

The retro charm of the Estate House at Summerhill Pyramid Winery was the spark for this shoot’s design direction. With its laid-back 70s feel and the winery’s not-too-serious personality, we saw the perfect opportunity to bring a playful editorial vision to life. Something that felt fresh, bold, and fun while still rooted in the natural beauty of the Okanagan.

We combined disco-era nostalgia with modern wedding touches: vintage glassware, a citrus-drenched palette, vibrant florals, and retro fashion. Every setup, from the chic sweetheart table and disco-adorned ceremony altar to the vintage bar cart, cake-cutting, and limo exit, was styled to feel intentional and full of personality.

This collaboration brought together a talented team of Okanagan vendors who fully embraced the shoot’s creative spirit. The result is a vibrant gallery of inspiration for couples looking to design a celebration that’s fun, stylish, and full of local flair. We blended touches like vintage glassware, bright colours, and 70’s-inspired bridal fashion with modern elements like vibrant florals and clean lines. The palette was warm and energetic, creating a setting that felt fun, stylish, and celebratory. Key vignettes included a retro-chic sweetheart table, a disco-dappled ceremony altar, a vintage bar cart, a classic cake-cutting moment, and a statement limo departure.

Every detail was styled to feel curated yet carefree. This collaboration brought together a team of Okanagan-based creatives who fully embraced the era’s playful spirit. It’s filled with creative ideas couples can use to bring personality and a little disco flair to their own weddings.
